User deactivations help admins and managers identified what users are still earning compensations in their organization. Once a user is deactivated their compensation calculations will stop, according to their selected ending date.
To deactivate a user, as well as review their current status in Dolfin, go to Users & Teams > Users:
You can see if a user is active or deactivated by checking the Status column in your user table.
To deactivate a user, select the three vertical dots located on the right side of a specific user and select Set Deactivation:
You can choose between a current/past deactivation date, or schedule a deactivation date for the future:
Deactivate right now
By selecting Deactivate right now, you can select any time up to the day you are making the deactivation:
Schedule deactivation
By selecting Schedule deactivation, You'll only be able to select a date form the future. The user will automatically be deactivated once the selected date arrives.
👋 Important: Compensations won't be calculated up to a deactivation date unless this setting has been selected in your compensation plans.
